In 1980, while on a spring trip in Florida with the Indiana University track team, Lance Fox took to the stage for the first time.  His teammates encouraged him to enter a local talent contest, and he won the $50 grand prize!  The two-time Big Ten champion and All-American pole vaulter would soon  trade his spikes for the stage as a performer.  A MAN OF MANY VOICES!!

In graduate school, Lance won the Campus Comedy Competition and opened for George Carlin at the Indiana University Auditorium in 1983.  He then began playing comedy clubs, such as Bear's Place, Crackers, and the Indianapolis Comedy Connection as a regular.  He played several clubs in the Midwest and L.A, including Carlos and Charlie's on Sunset Strip.  Working clubs throughout the 80s and 90s, Lance shared the stage with Tim Allen, Brad Garrett, and also opened for Dionne Warwick at Clowes Hall at Butler University.  Lance also appeared on the Q95 Bob and Tom radio show, and their WXIN 59 TV show on several occasions.

Lance currently does public, corporate, and private shows, and voice-overs for TV and radio commercials.  He has done four one-man shows at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater (BCT) in Bloomington, Indiana.  His last show there received a standing ovation for his ninety minute show of comedy and singing impressions.  He also received rave reviews!
